Biography
I am a general physician by profession and an environmentalist by passion. I was born in Davao City, Philippines where I grew up and studied until I was 16 years old. After which, I transferred to Manila, the capital of our country, to study under the accelerated program “Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine”. Living in Manila made me exposed to the harsh effects on human health of uncontrolled urbanization. This moved me into starting the first environmental organization in our campus “UP One Earth” and joining environmental camps, programs and conferences. I’d like to improve my knowledge and skills related to sustainability hence my decision to study under the GPSS-GLI program before I specialize in Medicine.
