I am Bangladeshi, but I grew up in New York. I received a BA in psychology from Columbia University. Prior to moving to Tokyo, I was an international school teacher at Hiroshima. Before coming to Japan, I was working as a research associate at the NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital in the child and adolescent psychiatry department. My current interests are in comparing the international education systems.
