Biography
Teah is passionate in sustainability science. He grows up in Malaysia, a place where urban development is rapid as well as societal value change. He pursuits his bachelor and master degree in Environmental Engineering in Taiwan, where he further observes the need of scope-broadening in socio-economic aspect to promote realistic change. Currently, he is studying in sustainability science and global leadership program in The University of Tokyo.
Research Title
The working theme is Sustainable Phosphorus Management. The challenge is, P fertilizer is a scare resource, and is polluting the ocean (nutrient), yet we cannot secure our food production without it. I am working on life cycle sustainability assessment for supporting P recycling policy (alternative P), and modeling the P species mobilization at land-sea interface.
